David Hayward: Pastor, Artist
By David Hayward • May 10th, 2008 • Category: Lead StoryI found out about David’s website through another Dave, the resident Pastor for our ezine effort, Mr. Dave Wainscott.
The link on his website read: www.nakedpastor.com.
I smiled thinking it made one hell of a name for a site and proceeded to click. I immediately fell in love with the site’s humor, musings and amazing visual artwork.
A heartfelt thank you to the Naked Pastor himself, David Hayward, for allowing us to feature his talent in this issue.
The work below speaks for itself.

David Hayward is is pastor of a Vineyard Church in Rothesay, New Brunswick, Canada. He has a couple of masters in theology and ministry. But he is also a musician, an artist and an aspiring writer. He loves red wine, single-malt scotch that is at least 12 years old, fine tobaccos such as Cohibas and Montecristos, as well as Executive Blend pipe tobacco. His interests are so broad that he just can’t name them all. He is the husband of a beautiful and amazing woman named Lisa, and the father of three fantastic teenagers. He loves the outdoors, space and freedom. He also loves minimalism and simplicity. He has a tee-shirt that reads, “I’m simple. It’s complicated.”

Hey guys. Thanks for the incredible honor!!!
It was our pleasure =)
wow! mad props to NP. I’ve been reading him for a while and just posted a review of his blog on my site as well. y’all did a much better job.
thanks!
Sixty-six years old, thirty-six years in the journey, thirty-two years invested in old-time holiness Pentecost, and presently occupying the back pew in A/G church while doing monthly outreach at a local rescue mission and the nearby Youth Detention Center. I say all that just to say: David’s art talent speaks for itself, but I also find his thoughts shared along the way to be out of an honest heart and expressing the journey pretty much as it has come to me along the way. It’s a great read!…
