A few Sundays ago, our worship leader introduced a new song that he wrote. Great, good that he’s moving beyond singing the top 40 worship songs wants to express his heart to God. Then I heard it. Let’s suffice to say that it was basically the pledge of Allegiance to the American Flag, set to music, with a chorus added to say “We belong to Jesus.”
